Chennai: The federal government has allotted Rs 4,445 crore for 5 years to arrange the seven built-in textile parks as introduced within the Finances.
PM Mitra parks will provide built-in textiles worth chain proper from spinning, weaving, processing/dyeing and printing to garment manufacturing at one location and this can scale back logistics value of business
Greenfield and brownfield parks may be arrange in states which have prepared availability of contiguous and encumbrance-free land parcels of 1,000 acres together with different textiles associated services and ecosystems.
Most improvement capital help (DCS) of 30 per cent of the mission value with a cap of Rs 500 crore can be offered to all greenfield parks. For the brownfield parks, it is going to be 30 per cent of mission value of steadiness infrastructure and different help services to be developed with a cap of Rs 200 crore. That is within the type of viability hole funding to make the mission engaging for participation of the non-public sector.
With a view to develop frequent infrastructure, 30 per cent of the mission value can be provided to every park together with Rs 300 crore of competitiveness incentive help (CIS).
Parks can be developed by a particular goal automobile which can be owned by the state authorities and the Centre in a public non-public partnership (PPP) mode.
The core infrastructure of the park contains incubation centre in addition to plug and play facility, developed manufacturing unit websites, roads, energy, water and waste water system, frequent processing home, design centres and testing centres. Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Ass-am, Karnataka, MP and Telangana have expressed curiosity in organising the parks, introduced within the Finances.
