Hyderabad: Telangana Cricket Affiliation (TCA) basic secretary Dharam Guruva Reddy pitched for BCCI affiliation for his affiliation by advancing the argument of ‘rural cricket on a global wicket’, on Sunday.
Chatting with media individuals, Guruva Reddy spoke at size on how the TCA was nurturing younger expertise from the district, and the way the Hyderabad Cricket Affiliation (HCA) was not doing its job.
“The explanation we stepped up and began the TCA was as a result of there was an enormous hole between the expertise obtainable within the districts and the alternatives — the BCCI tournaments — which they had been getting,” Guruva Reddy mentioned.
“The TCA should be affiliated (by the BCCI) because there are a whole lot of issues within the HCA as well as the lack of presence of the BCCI umbrella across Telangana state,” he added.
The TCA official mentioned the HCA had restricted itself to Hyderabad and had ignored cricketing expertise from different components of the state. “TCA has been successful in taking cricket to the doorstep of the rural youth, something which the HCA has miserably failed to do,” he mentioned.
“By way of membership, conducting tournaments outdoors Hyderabad, geographical attain, expertise search, choice system, infrastructure and transparency, there are HCA lapses in all places,” Guruva Reddy mentioned.
“The TCA has the capacity to cover Hyderabad as well, but we’re not intefering with the HCA. We are controlling, managing and developing cricket in throughout the state,” he claimed.
