VIJAYAWADA: The Cricket Affiliation for the Blind in India (CABI) has introduced the Indian Cricket Squad (blind) for the upcoming Tri-nation T-20 sequence in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The captain of the crew, I Ajay Kumar Reddy, belongs to Guntur district. 4 blind cricketers from the state, together with the captain, obtained locations within the crew.


The Bangladesh blind cricket council (BBCC), an affiliate of the organisation of World Blind Cricket Ltd (WBC) is organising a tri-nation Blind T- 20 cricket match from April 2 to eight in Dhaka marking the delivery centenary of the Father of the Nation -Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rehman – Mujib Barsho –and the fiftieth anniversary of Independence of Bangladesh.

Groups from India, Pakistan and the host nation will likely be collaborating within the tri-nation match. This would be the first worldwide match for the blind for the reason that begin of Covid-19. The groups will observe the corona management tips.

The Indian crew was chosen by a committee of CABI with John David as its chairman. He mentioned the crew will carry out at its finest.

Mahantesh GK, the President of CABI, mentioned this will likely be a historic match and wished the perfect to the Bangladesh Blind Cricket Council (BBCC).

Captain Ajaykumar Reddy mentioned the teaching camp for the crew will likely be held at Bangabasi faculty cricket floor in West Bengal from March 25 to 31.
