Sage Stallone Found Dead At 36

The first son of veteran actor Sylvester Stallone who co-starred with him in his Rocky V movie, Sage Stallone, was on Friday found dead in his Hollywood apartment.

According to the New York Post, his passing was confirmed with his attorney George Braunstein.

According to the New York Post’s sources, the young Sylvester likely died of an overdose as there was no suspicion of foul play.

According to the sources, pills were found in his home – but it hasn’t surfaced whether his death was natural or suicidal.

The case has been referred to the coroner, says the LAPD.

George Braunstein said his client was seen in the house a few hours before his death: “He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects,” said Braunstein. “He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy.”

Sage was Sylvester Stallone’s oldest son born to him by his ex-wife Sasha Czack, they later divorced in 1985. The younger Stallone is survived by his brother Seargeoh, and his three sisters Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet – they are his step mother’s daughters.

He made a debut in film playing the role of Rocky’s son, Rober Balboa, in 1990′s “Rocky V” at age 14. The film, although, was not a success – financially and critically.

Sage waved goodbye to acting in 1996 after apearing with his father in “Daylight,” and later co-founded Grindhouse Releasing the same year.
